Kelly has taught didactic and clinical courses in medical/surgical nursing, fundamentals, and community health nursing in a variety nursing education programs including diploma, traditional and accelerated baccalaureate and RN-BSN at various universities in the Philadelphia area over the last 17 years. Most recently Kelly served as the Dean of Education at Roxborough Memorial Hospital.

During her various roles in Nursing Education, she has helped students who struggled academically as she feels that the struggle does not define who they will be as a nurse. She also focuses on the student as a whole, as they may face various obstacles during nursing school.  Along with the faculty, she also helped to create a student foodbank to combat food insecurity among students.  Kelly's passion is to help become successful nurses to help with the Nursing Shortage in hospitals and in public Health.
