After retiring from city government, Denise Payne relaunched CoubaTravel in 2012, initially focusing on missionary travel. Over time, she expanded the company’s offerings to include missionary-cultural tours, combining spiritual outreach with rich cultural experiences. CoubaTravel also offers optional escorted group services, accommodating group sizes ranging from as small as eight to as large as eighty travelers.

The company has successfully coordinated and escorted both local and international group missions, with group sizes between 25 and 125 participants. Key international destinations include Kenya, South Africa, and Nicaragua, where CoubaTravel has built a strong reputation for organizing meaningful mission experiences.

As the business evolved, Denise recognized a growing demand for accessible travel options for individuals with special needs. In response, CoubaTravel obtained official certification in Special Needs Travel, ensuring inclusive services for all travelers.

As a Business Education major in college and with a daughter, who is an attorney, Denise understands the importance of protecting both the business and its clients. As such, CoubaTravel ensures that all travel arrangements include clear terms, conditions, disclaimers, and disclosures, promoting transparency and professionalism in every transaction.
