Bruce Sigman

Bruce Sigman is a highly accomplished, results-focused business professional with extensive track record directing operations in pharmacy.  A graduate of Northeast High School and Temple University School of Pharmacy, he was owner and operator of Glenside’s well known Weldon Pharmacy from 1977 to 2002. He has been Pharmacy Manager of Genuardi’s  (now Giant) in Roslyn since 2002.

In addition to filling prescriptions for store customers, he services assisted living, mental health and visiting nurse facilities, immunizes, screens and provides consultations for patients, is an adjuct clinical instructor and precepts students from several colleges of pharmacy and pharmacy tech schools, screens and provides consultations for many medical conditions, and is an advocate for patient rights.

Mr. Sigman gives back to the community through his involvement with the Roslyn Jaycees, the Greater Glenside Chamber of Commerce, Briar Bush Nature Center, and Masonic Lodge Columbia #91. He serves on numerous healthcare advisory panels, and is a consultant pharmacist for hospitals and nursing homes.

He was President of the Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association, President of the Montgomery Co. Pharmacy Association, President of the Glenside Chamber of Commerce and is on the Temple University School of Pharmacy Alumni Board

He has received numerous awards from professional organizations including the Temple University Distinguished Pharmacist Practitioner Award (first ever) and the Pennsylvania Pharmacist of the Year Award.
