Jeffrey Brown is the founder, President and CEO of Brown’s Super Stores, Inc., a growing ten-store supermarket chain trading under the ShopRite banner. Brown’s Super Store was recognized as one of “The Best Places to Work” by the Philadelphia Business Journal three years in a row as well as recognized by the Philadelphia Inquirer, Philadelphia Daily News and NJBiz as the top large company work place in the region.

Local, national and international media frequently interview Mr. Brown for his expertise in solving the “food desert” crisis challenging so many low-income communities. He was a guest of the First Lady, Michelle Obama, at President Obama’s 2010 State of the Union address.

Mr. Jeffrey Brown is the Founder and Chairman of UpLift Solutions, a 501c3 public non-profit formed to assist governments, non-profits and businesses in resolving “food desert” challenges in the United States.
